Report of an abandoned vehicle

We need to make sure a vehicle that you are reporting has been abandoned. We look at a combination of the following characteristics to help decide if it has been abandoned - these will help you decide if you need to report a vehicle:

• Untaxed - - check if a vehicle is taxed using the registration number
• Stationary for a significant amount of time
• Significantly damaged, run down or unroadworthy
• Burned out
• Lacking one or more of its number plates
• Containing waste
