Magna Park planning application refused
Published Thursday 11 January 2018Councillors have refused a planning application to create a storage and distribution centre, and associated facilities, around the Magna Park business park near Lutterworth.
Harborough District Council resolved to refuse planning consent for the application, from IDI Gazeley (ref 15/01531/OUT), at extraordinary meeting of Council held on Wednesday 10 January 2018 at Hangar 42, Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground and Aerodrome.
Councillors at the meeting listened to a number of speakers for and against the applications before reaching a decision.
The IDI Gazeley application was considered by Full Council after a decision to approve the application by planning committee, on 23 November 2017, was ‘called-in’ to Council by a group of councillors.
