Bargain Hunt expert to visit Harborough Market
Published Wednesday 20 September 2017Are you curious about how much your antiques are worth? Perhaps you want to know a little more about them?
If so, why not come along to Harborough Market, on Northampton Road, on Wednesday 11th October between 10am and 2pm and have your items valued for free by BBC TV presenter and antiques specialist Charles Hanson.
Charles Hanson (pictured), who owns his own auction house in Derbyshire, is a regular antiques expert on BBC’s Bargain Hunt, Flog it! and The Antiques Road Trip.
“I’m delighted to be coming to Harborough Market to carry out valuations,” said Charles. “Please start digging out those treasures because you just might be sitting on a fortune. Whether you have some ceramics, glassware, jewellery, watches, vintage toys, militaria heirlooms or just something weird and wonderful you think might be worth something, I would love to see it. You never know, you could be in for an Antiques Roadshow-style pleasant surprise.”
Sairah Butt, Market Place and Harborough Market Manager said, “Market Place is delighted that Charles Hanson is appearing at Harborough Market during our popular weekly Wednesday Antiques Market. We hope that the public come along for a great day out at the market’
Sairah added. “Our general hall and food hall is open as well, so you can pop along for a free valuation, a bit of shopping and a bite to eat all under one roof!”
Harborough Market, which is operated by Market Place, is open 8am to 5pm Tuesday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday for the popular Sunday Antiques Market. Valuations will take place between 10am and 2pm on a first come first serve basis.
