NHS introduces new mobile app

An innovative new mobile App called ‘NHS Now’ is being introduced which will give people all the essential information they need to make the right choices.

The App helps people to access self-care advice, or choose and find their nearest, most appropriate and most convenient local health service.  They get live opening times and directions to each local NHS service.

For each type of service, they can ask to see either all locations or those that are open for service at the specific time they are using the App and services include:

  • Pharmacies
  • GP Practices
  • Dentists
  • Urgent Care Centres
  • A&E

You can download the App now from either the Apple App store or Google Play by searching for ‘NHS Now’.
