Rainbow flag flies to mark LGBT history month
Published Tuesday 4 February 2014The Rainbow flag is flying above the Harborough District Council offices this week to mark the start of Lesbian Gay Bisexual Trans (LGBT) History Month.
The council, along with partner agencies, is flying the rainbow flag to celebrate Lesbian Gay Bisexual Trans History Month, which takes place every year in February.
It celebrates the lives and achievements of the LGBT community. LGBT History Month 2014 is dedicated to music.
Leicester City and County Councils, Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service, Melton Borough Council, and Leicestershire Police are amongst others who are also flying the flag.
