Action taken to protect land in Little Bowden
Published Thursday 21 May 2020On 21 May 2020, Harborough District Council served an Immediate Article 4 Direction on land at Queen’s Street, Little Bowden, Market Harborough.
The Direction removes certain permitted development rights which will require the land owner to obtain planning permission such as for the erection a gate, fence or wall. Planning permission is not usually needed for that work.
The purpose of making these works subject to planning permission is to help protect the character and appearance of the area.
Separately the Council has yet to take a planning decision on proposals to install fencing and use this the land for a dog walking area.
