Harborough Innovation Centre update
Published Tuesday 23 July 2019Harborough District Council and the Chair of the Harborough Innovation Centre (HIC) Strategy Board held a productive meeting on Friday 19 July 2019 with the businesses at the HIC concerning occupancy.
The Council has taken steps to rectify the situation at the HIC with the aim of reducing or eliminating the impact on businesses, and will continue to work closely with these businesses, and the Strategy Board, to move forward in a collaborative way.
The Innovation Centre, owned by Harborough District Council, opened in 2011 to provide office space and support for fledgling businesses to help them become established, grow sustainably and move on to new premises. The criteria for this and how it is implemented will be reviewed in coming weeks by the Board working with HDC and tenants will be kept informed.
