Popular veggie and vegan event returns

Event organisers, Harborough District Council, were delighted with the first event and hope to build on its success, growing the vegan, vegetarian, and wellbeing fair into something that can continue to grow both in size and in popularity.

The event is designed to showcase some fantastic vegan and vegetarian foods, fair trade products, eco cleaning products, soaps, bath bombs, nettle clothing (woven from the fibres in mature nettle stems) and an array of wellbeing and fitness practitioners.

Cllr James Hallam, Harborough District Council’s economic development lead, said: “This promises to be a wonderful event highlighting some of the more sustainable and eco-friendly choices that we can make in our lives. I hope that people come into Market Harborough, visit the fair and see what else the town and district has to offer.”

Holistic Harborough takes place on Saturday 22 June 2019 from 10am to 4pm on the Square in Market Harborough, followed by a final Holistic Harborough event of the year on Saturday 28 September 2019.
