Free digital tips boosting local retailers’ sales

Digital marketing and social media opportunities are wide and varied, but few local businesses are leveragi
ng them to their full potential.
With this is mind Harborough District Council is continuing its popular series of digital marketing workshops, in Lutterworth and Market Harborough, which a number of businesses are already taking advantage of.
Retail and marketing expert Corin Birchall will share some surprising and effective tips and tactics that the most successful independent businesses are adopting, across the country and further afield, to get more money in their cash registers.
Participants can get practical hands-on tips and techniques to create Facebook adverts that convert your ideal target customers, ensure your email database is GDPR compliant, make sure your business is found when customers use Google, and discover the benefits of Instagram – a fast-growing and attractive platform for many local businesses.
