ASB Case Review
What happens after you submit your report form
Once you have submitted the ASB Case Review report form, the Community Safety Manager will acknowledge your request, review all related reports and evidence and confirm whether or not you meet the criteria for a formal review.
If your application does not meet the threshold for a full review, you will be provided with the rationale for this decision and information regarding what you can do next.
If the threshold is met, you will be informed, and the review will take up to 28 days from the date of that decision. You will be provided with further details of what this entails at that time.
In the meantime, if you need to report any further anti-social behaviour or hate related incidents please do so:
- email to communitysafety@harborough.gov.uk
- call 999 – If there is a direct and immediate threat to life / limb or to property, prompt attendance is required to catch suspects in the act of committing a crime, or have just committed the crime and are in the vicinity. Please do not use the 999 system to report general nuisance or anti-social behaviour.
- call 101 – or report online for every other non-emergency situation - for example, where no immediate police response is required or does not require police attendance at all. General nuisance or antisocial behaviour e.g. drunk & rowdy behaviour or verbal abuse.
- online via our Anti-social behaviour page where you could also report flytipping, abandoned vehicles and nuisance dogs

Appeals

The decision of the independent Community Safety Partnership Chair on any grounds of appeal is final.
Complaints
The ASB Case Review does not replace the existing complaints procedure. You still have the right to complain to the Ombudsman or Independent Office for Police Conduct if you are unhappy about the service you have received.
