HM The Queen

Floral tributes

Market Harborough

Floral tributes may be left in the Memorial Gardens in Market Harborough (open daily 7am until 7pm). We are unable to keep cards left with floral tributes, but you may wish to sign one of the offical books of condolence.

Lutterworth

You can lay floral tributes in the Memorial Gardens in Lutterworth.

Broughton Astley

Broughton Astley Parish Council has a designated area in the War Memorial Gardens on Frolesworth Road for the laying of floral tributes. They are politely requesting that any cellophane or plastics are removed prior to placing the flowers as they will be removed after the State Funeral and composted. The compost will then be used to plant a commemorative tree.

Great Glen

Great Glen Parish Council has designated Memorial Green in Great Glen for the laying of floral tributes.

Horninghold

Horninghold Parish Meeting has confirmed that flowers may be left in the porch of St Peter's Church.

Church Langton

Church Langton has a designated area within St Peters Church at the altar, adjacent to the book of remembrance, for the laying of floral tributes for HM The Queen.

Lubenham

Floral tributes may be left along the edge of the path from the South Porch towards the steps from the river Welland at All Saints Church Lubenham. This is a particularly apt place for them to be left as when the Queen stayed at Thorpe Lubenham Hall as a guest of the Werner Family in the 1950s, the route she took to the Church was up and down that very pathway.

Tugby

Tugby & Keythorpe Parish Council confirms that floral tributes can be placed in the memorial garden at St Thomas Becket Church, Main Street, Tugby.

Thurnby

Thurnby and Bushby Parish Council has designated an area adjacent to the 'Lest We Forget' bench on the green opposite St Luke's Church, Main Street, Thurnby. The Parish Council requests that tributes are limited to this area.

Details of arrangements for the laying of floral tributes in other locations across the district will be shared here.
