With the previous Economic Development Strategy concluding at the end of 2023, a new Strategy has been developed to guide the Council and its partners' efforts moving forward.

The 2024-31 Economic Development Strategy identifies key challenges and opportunities with a strong economic dimension that Harborough District faces, outlining how the Council and its partners will address these. This Strategy aligns with the remaining period of the Harborough Local Plan (2011-31), ensuring close integration between spatial and economic planning.
