Housing, homelessness prevention and rough sleeping strategy
From: 12/01/2024 To: 05/02/2024.
Harborough District Council is seeking views on a Housing, Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy (2024-2029)
We need to update our Housing and Homelessness Strategy – the current version expires in 2024 and much has changed in the past five years. Working with feedback from council members, colleagues and our key partners we have developed some main themes, priorities and objectives. These form the basis of our draft Strategy.
The draft Strategy is supported by a detailed and comprehensive evidence base which covers housing supply/housing need and homelessness in Harborough District.
Before the Strategy is considered by the Council for approval we are seeking your feedback. Whilst we don’t think we need to change the main themes we would like you to read the document and tell us what you think focusing on the questions below:
- Are there any priorities that you think are important that have not been included under any of the themes?
- Are the objectives right and do they respond to the relevant priority effectively?
- Do you think the actions we propose under each priority are the right ones? Is there anything else we should do?
- Please tell us how you and your organisation could be engaged to help us address the priorities and fulfil the objectives of the Strategy.
