Anti-social behaviour

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) is acting in a manner that caused or was likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to one or more persons not of the same household. Some examples are:

• Nuisance neighbours (including noise issues)
• Rowdy behaviour and intimidating groups taking over public spaces
• Graffiti and fly-posting
• Dealing and buying drugs on the street
• Dumping rubbish
• Abandoning cars
• Anti-social drinking
• Misuse of fireworks
• Reckless driving including driving of mini-motorbikes

We work with the police, local housing associations and members of the Community Safety Partnership to co-ordinate complaints, responses and problem solving procedures related to anti-social behaviour.
