Anti-social behaviour
What is anti-social behaviour
Anti-social behaviour (ASB) is acting in a manner that caused or was likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to one or more persons not of the same household. Some examples are:
- Nuisance neighbours (including noise issues)
- Rowdy behaviour and intimidating groups taking over public spaces
- Graffiti and fly-posting
- Dealing and buying drugs on the street
- Dumping rubbish
- Abandoning cars
- Anti-social drinking
- Misuse of fireworks
- Reckless driving including driving of mini-motorbikes
We work with the police, local housing associations and members of the Community Safety Partnership to co-ordinate complaints, responses and problem solving procedures related to anti-social behaviour.
