Transparency
The Local Government Transparency Code 2015 sets out the minimum data and information that all Local Authorities must publish, the frequency it should be published and how it should be published.
You can find the information that we are required to publish quarterly, annually and only once. As this is a new requirement not all of the information is currently available.
All of the information provided can be used and re-used under the terms of the Open Government Licence, published by the National Archive - please familiarise yourself with the terms of the licence before re-using any of the data.
Information published quarterly
Information which must be published quarterly:
- Expenditure over £500
- Government Procurement Card transactions - Harborough District Council does not use a Government Procurement Card
- Procurement information - Contracts register of all invitations to tender for contracts to provide goods and/or services with a value that exceeds £5,000 (net amount excluding recoverable VAT)
- Procurement information - Contracts register of all contracts, comissioned activity purchase order, framework agreement etc with a value exceeding £5,000 (net excluding recoverable VAT)
Information published annually
- Information which must be published annually:
- Local authority land - asset register
- Grants to voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations
- Organisation chart
- Politically restricted posts
- Trade Union facility time: Agreement (PDF, 2MB) | Time and Costs (PDF, 138Kb)
- Parking account
- Parking spaces
- Senior salaries
- Pay policy statement (PDF, 192KB)
- List of responsibilities (eg the services and functions they are responsible for (in Constitution), budget held and number of staff)
- Details of bonuses and 'benefits-in-kind' for all senior employees whose salary exceeds £50,000 (PDF, 18KB)
